*SOn the morning of March 28, at the National Assembly House,Conference of full-time National Assembly deputies, discussed a number of draft laws to be submitted to the 3rd Session of the 15th National Assembly. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong attended the conference.

*DThe North-South Expressway project through Nghe An province is about 87.84km long, including 2 sub-projects: Nghi Son - Dien Chau sub-project and Dien Chau - Bai Vot sub-project, passing through Hoang Mai town and 5 districts: Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc and Hung Nguyen. Of which, 79.31km passes through agricultural land; 8.53km passes through residential areas, requiring resettlement for about 606 households.

*LRegarding the management, protection, and exploitation of forests and forestry land, up to now, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has directed the implementation ofland recovery from agricultural and forestry companiesin Quy Hop district, transferred to local management with a total area of ​​more than 7,293 hectares.

Currently, in Quy Hop district, there are 4 agricultural and forestry farms, with a total area of ​​over 12,912 hectares according to the approved plan to be retained for management. Quy Hop Forest Farm manages a total area of ​​over 5,985 hectares; Dong Hop Forest Farm manages over 3,299 hectares; 3-2 Agricultural and Industrial One Member Co., Ltd. over 1,855 hectares; Xuan Thanh Agricultural One Member Co., Ltd. over 1,772 hectares.

*LIVEAnother development in the same field, according to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in 2021, implementing the Project "Modernizing the Forestry Sector and Enhancing Coastal Resilience - FMCR", 28.83 hectares of coastal protection forests were newly planted, including 23.71 hectares of mangrove forests and 5.12 hectares of wind and sand-blocking forests.

The whole province currently has 82km of coastline, running through 144 communes and wards of 6 districts and towns. *NOn March 28, Nghe An Provincial People's Court openedfirst instance criminal trialtried defendant Cao Trong Phu (born 1962, also known as Cao Ty Phu), residing in Nghi Kim commune, Vinh city, for the crimes of "Murder" and "Illegal possession and use of military weapons".

Considering the case as a whole, the panel sentenced Cao Trong Phu to life in prison for “Murder” and 3 years in prison for “Illegal possession and use of military weapons”. The total sentence the defendant must receive is life in prison.
