Nghe An: Searching for 11-year-old girl who drowned while bathing in river with friends
(Baonghean.vn) - While swimming in the river with two friends, an 11-year-old girl in Do Luong district, Nghe An was unfortunately swept away by the water and has not been found yet.

The victim was Duong Thi Ngoc Anh (born 2007, residing in hamlet 11, Thinh Son commune, Do Luong district).
At around 3:30 p.m. on June 19, Anh and two friends went swimming in the Dao River. While swimming in the river, the two friends were wearing life jackets, but Anh did not bring a life jacket.
Therefore, when the two friends discovered that Anh was being swept away by the water, they quickly ran to the shore and called for help. When the adults came out, Anh had already been swept away by the water.
After receiving the news, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Vice Chairman of Do Luong District People's Committee directly directed the search and rescue team to find Anh. However, up to now, due to strong water currents, she has not been found.
