Suspected brother drank alcohol and beat his younger brother to death
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 21, the Investigation Police Agency (Quynh Luu District Police) announced: They are temporarily detaining Tran Duc Than (born in 1968), Ngoc Doai village, Quynh Ngoc commune to investigate a murder case in which the victim is Than's younger brother.
Accordingly, at about 10:30 a.m. the same day, Quynh Ngoc Commune Police received a report that in Ngoc Doai village, Quynh Ngoc commune (Quynh Luu), a fight occurred, resulting in 1deceased.
Upon receiving the report, the Commune Police arrived at the scene of the incident, Tran Duc Than's private home, and discovered Than sitting on the porch (showing signs of having been drinking alcohol).
Checking Than's bedroom, the police discovered Tran Duc Thuan (born in 1971), also from Ngoc Doai village (Than's younger brother) lying on the bed and dead. Thuan had many injuries on his body, and there were many blood stains in the room and bed.
The commune police protected the scene, took Tran Duc Than to the headquarters, and reported to the district police leaders.
According to Tran Duc Than's initial statement, the subject used a wooden cutting board to hit the victim in the face.
The case is under investigation.
