Hung Nguyen residents blocked the road to prevent trucks from carrying materials.
(Baonghean.vn) - Believing that trucks run day and night, and materials fall onto the road, causing environmental pollution, people brought rocks and wood to Provincial Road 542E, passing through Hung Tay Commune (Hung Nguyen, Nghe An) to block the road. On the morning and afternoon of April 6, residents of Phuc Dien 1 hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district used bricks, stones, and wooden bars to block Provincial Road 542E passing through the hamlet. The purpose of blocking the road is to put pressure on the quarry business owner and local authorities to take responsibility for ensuring the environment for households living next to Provincial Road 542E.

It is known that trucks carrying soil and rocks from the nearby quarry run through Provincial Road 542E in large quantities and at high density every day... These trucks carrying materials are not properly covered, causing soil and rocks to fall onto the road. Every time there is wind or other vehicles pass by, dust rises up and sticks to the trees on both sides of the road, polluting the environment. Dust even flies into houses, affecting people's lives.
