Man dies in the street after being beaten with a hammer
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing Mr. H. walking ahead, Thuong (residing in Nghia Dan district, Nghe An) rushed over and used a hammer to knock the victim down on the spot, then quickly left the scene.
This morning, October 7, the People's Committee of Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Dan district, said: An incident has just occurred in the area, causing one death.
According to initial information, at around 3:30 p.m. on October 6, Mr. Nguyen Van H. (37 years old) was riding an electric bicycle on the inter-commune road from Nghia Binh commune towards Nghia Dan town when a man rushed up and attacked him with a hammer.
The strong blow caused Mr. H. to collapse on the street. He was promptly taken to the emergency room by local people but did not survive. The suspect was identified as Nguyen Van Thuong (33 years old) and quickly left the scene.
It is known that victims H. and Thuong both live in Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Dan district.
Upon receiving the news, Nghia Dan District Police arrived at the scene.
Nghia Dan District Police have arrested suspect Thuong to assist in the investigation. The initial cause was determined to be jealousy, which caused the incident.
