Meaningful activities during Mid-Autumn Festival in Ky Son and Quynh Luu
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 29, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District and the District Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans organized many practical activities for children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, such as giving gifts in Muong Long Commune, Ky Son District and giving money to support the construction of charity houses for children.

At Muong Long 1 Primary School, Muong Long Commune, Ky Son District,Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Societyorganize the Mid-Autumn Festival 2020 program.
With the theme "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, support to go to school", the Provincial Red Cross and philanthropists brought a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn atmosphere to poor children in the highlands to encourage them.
Here, the delegation presented 400 warm uniforms, 360 pairs of sandals, 60 warm blankets, 6 sets of I Noc tables and chairs, 1 semi-industrial water filter, 1 2,000-liter water tank, 4 bunk beds, and organized a Mid-Autumn Festival and feast with the children.
On this occasion, the benefactors also donated a meat grinder to serve the students in cooking. The total value of the gifts was nearly 140 million VND.

Nguyen Anh Tai in village 1, Quynh My commune and Le Van An in village 3, Son Hai commune are both fatherless. Their families are in extremely difficult circumstances. In order to help them have a stable home, Quynh Luu district has allocated the Fund for Supporting Children in Extremely Difficult Circumstances to support each child's family with 50 million VND to build a new house.
In addition to the attention of the district, the local authorities of Quynh My and Son Hai communes, relatives, neighbors, organizations and individuals joined hands to help with funding and labor, so after more than 4 months of construction, the 2 charity houses were completed and put into use in time for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The total value of each house is over 270 million VND.
