Many students discovered making illegal fireworks
(Baonghean.vn) - Hoang Mai town authorities discovered that some students went online to learn, then ordered precursors to make firecrackers.
On January 13, 2022, through patrol work, Quynh Phuong Ward Police, Hoang Mai Town, discovered and caught red-handed NVT (born 2007), residing in Tan Phong block, Quynh Phuong ward, usinghomemade cannon. Seized 106 homemade fireworks, 0.2 kg of fireworks precursors.
Expanding the investigation, discovered NBV (born 2007) and L.D.M (born 2008), both residing in Tan Tien block, Quynh Phuong ward, were manufacturing fireworks. Confiscated 4 homemade fireworks, 1.52 kg of fireworks precursors and 3 kg of paper fireworks shells.

Through investigation, the students said they learned about the chemicals on social media through YouTube and TikTok apps, then bought precursors on e-commerce sites to make fireworks.
Authorities recommend that parents closely monitor their children, because the situation of buying, selling, storing and manufacturing fireworks is quite complicated near Tet. If there are no educational and deterrent measures, the consequences will be unpredictable./.
