Previously, on January 24, Vinh Thanh and Vien Thanh commune police coordinated to arrest Tran Ngoc Tung (born 1987), residing in Vinh Son hamlet, Vinh Thanh commune, for illegally storing firecrackers, and seized 16 fireworks with a total weight of 23.6 kg.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Ngoc Canh - Head of Yen Thanh District Police said: From the beginning of January 2022 to now, Yen Thanh District Police have coordinated with functional forces to detect 18 cases, confiscate 320 kg of illegal fireworks, prosecute 13 cases, 14 subjects. Currently, Yen Thanh District Police are confiscating the fireworks evidence to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
