Approval of planning for the western area of Do Luong urban center
(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a Decision to approve the planning of the Western area of Do Luong urban center in Luu Son commune. The goal is to concretize the general urban construction planning project, creating an urban area with modern landscape architecture space.
Accordingly, on January 4, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision approving the tasks and estimates of the 1/2000 scale zoning plan for the Western area of Do Luong urban center in Luu Son commune, Do Luong district.
The planning land includes the entire area of Luu Son commune, Do Luong district; the survey and planning area is about 529.98 hectares.
The planning of the western area of Do Luong urban center in Luu Son commune, Do Luong district with the goal of concretizing the general urban construction planning project of Do Luong, Do Luong district was approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province in Decision No. 4129/QD-UBND dated December 22, 2022. Creating an urban area with full functional areas with modern landscape architecture space, synchronous technical infrastructure towards sustainable development, environmental protection, contributing to promoting socio-economic development for Do Luong urban area.

In addition, it also creates an urban area with its own identity, harmoniously connecting with existing urban development areas and adjacent planning projects and schemes, ensuring spatial organization and technical infrastructure connections with neighboring areas, ensuring synchronization, efficiency and sustainability.
Regional planning in this area also serves as a basis for determining urban construction investment projects, making detailed urban planning, and attracting, calling for, and selecting investors to implement the planning.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the relevant sectors to survey the terrain, investigate and evaluate the natural conditions, current status of construction, land use, technical infrastructure of investment projects, socio-economic conditions of the planning area. Forecast socio-economic development, land use indicators, infrastructure, technical infrastructure of the planning area.
Organize landscape architectural space planning, land use planning, technical infrastructure planning in a synchronous manner suitable to the terrain conditions and orientation planning of the area. Determine urban green space, including (green corridors, green belts, parks or natural and artificial forests in urban areas...); green tree solutions in main spatial axes, urban areas.
Assign the People's Committee of Do Luong district to implement the construction planning in accordance with the provisions of this Decision and other relevant legal provisions, ensuring investment objectives, quality, prescribed progress and effectiveness of the project.
The time for preparing the planning project is assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to be 9 months from the effective date of the consulting contract between the investor and the planning consulting unit.
