On the afternoon of April 2, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee inspected the quarantine work and visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the forces serving at 2 centralized quarantine points in Yen Thanh and Quynh Luu districts. Coming to inspect the centralized quarantine point at Yen Thanh Agricultural Vocational College, comrade Nguyen Van Thong praised the efforts of the forces serving here.
Concerned about the facilities, food and living conditions of the people as well as medical measures, comrade Nguyen Van Thong noted that the District Military Command - the unit directly managing the quarantine point - regularly coordinates well with medical units in the area to carry out daily disinfection spraying measures at the quarantine point, especially for people and vehicles entering and leaving the quarantine point; at the same time, strictly maintain the regime of health examination and monitoring for people to detect cases showing signs of fever, cough and promptly conduct medical isolation.

Sharing the difficulties with the forces in the condition of having to take care of many ages at the same time, from the elderly to the young, including people with serious illnesses and different living conditions, Deputy Secretary Nguyen Van Thong hopes that the forces will continue to propagate and encourage people to strictly comply with regulations for the health of themselves and the community.
Currently, in Yen Thanh, in addition to the centralized quarantine point at Yen Thanh Agricultural Vocational College with 190 people being quarantined, the district has also prepared full facilities and arranged forces to receive more people for centralized quarantine at the town's Secondary School with a capacity of 200 - 250 people.
The district has proactively prepared medical isolation plans at the district general hospital with a capacity of 30-40 patients. In addition, the district has directed 39/39 communes and towns to prepare isolation points at kindergartens and medical stations with a capacity of 50-60 people.

On the same afternoon, comrade Nguyen Van Thong also visited, encouraged and gave gifts to the forces on duty at the centralized quarantine point at the Quynh Luu District Political Training Center.
Comrade Nguyen Van Thong also reminded the officers, soldiers and volunteers serving here, in addition to taking good care of and serving the people, they also need to pay attention to measures to ensure their own safety; at the same time, reminded the Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Quynh Luu district to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to strictly implement Directive 16 of the Prime Minister, closely monitor people entering and leaving the area, ensuring the effectiveness of social isolation work.

In particular, the district needs to focus on strictly monitoring home quarantine for 50 cases returning from Bach Mai Hospital within 14 days and continue to monitor 33 cases that have passed 14 days.
Currently, in addition to the quarantine point at the District Political Training Center, Quynh Luu district has also prepared adequate facilities and arranged forces to be ready to receive people quarantined at Quynh Hoa Kindergarten with a scale of 140 people; at the same time, surveying additional points for possible centralized quarantine at Quynh Thach Primary School.

There are currently 26 centralized quarantine sites in the province with 6,190 people admitted; of which 21 are managed by localities and 5 are managed by military units of Military Region IV.
