At Nghe An War Invalids Nursing Center, currently caring for 62wounded soldiersseriously ill and 3 wives of martyrs from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces. Over the years, overcoming all difficulties, the center has done a good job of caring for and nurturing seriously ill wounded soldiers, and the lives of wounded soldiers have gradually improved.
Comrade Le Hong Vinh, on behalf of the provincial leaders, expressed gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions of wounded soldiers and martyrs' families to the peace and independence of the country.

After 47 years of establishment, the Center for Nursing Wounded Soldiers has become a common home, many people have lived in the center for more than half of their lives. With the affection and responsibility of the unit, he hopes that the officers and employees will continue to care for and help to support the wounded soldiers in both material and spiritual life, especially paying attention to the health of seriously wounded soldiers. Through this, the Vice Chairman also wishes the wounded soldiers good health and continue to contribute to both Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, building the homeland to be more and more beautiful.

Arriving at Nghe An Mental Health Nursing Home, the delegation listened to the unit's leaders report on its activities in recent years. Currently, the nursing home is caring for 94 wounded and sick soldiers and children of some martyrs and seriously wounded and sick soldiers. With its own functions and management, over the years, the nursing home has done a good job of caring for and treating mentally ill wounded and sick soldiers, improving their health.
Visiting and presenting gifts to wounded soldiers being treated at the nursing home, comrade Le Hong Vinh shared the difficulties, hardships and disadvantages of wounded soldiers with mental illness. At the same time, he acknowledged the efforts of the center's staff. Comrade Le Hong Vinh also affirmed that over the years, the Party, the State and the province have always paid attention and cared for wounded soldiers and martyrs' families. Through this, he hopes to partly compensate for the difficulties and help wounded soldiers overcome their illnesses.

With its responsibility, the province will also continue to regularly inspect and supervise medical examination and treatment so that the centers can perform their duties well. At a time when the Covid-19 epidemic is complicated, he also hopes that the nursing home needs to arrange staff appropriately and strengthen disease prevention work in the unit.
Also this morning, in Vinh city, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of seriously ill soldier Nguyen The Hung (born in 1951) in block 12, Doi Cung ward. He is also currently infected with toxic chemicals and is assessed to have a combined illness, currently receiving 81% sick soldier benefits.

The second case is the family of war invalid Nguyen Van Minh (born in 1944) in hamlet 10, Nghi Kim commune, currently receiving 21% disability allowance. Over the past years, Mr. Minh's family has had many difficulties because they only do agriculture, and all 5 children are self-employed (1 daughter has a mental illness), but his family is still exemplary in all movements of the hamlet and locality, and has well implemented the policies and laws of the Party and State.

On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, comrade Le Hong Vinh also presented gifts of gratitude on behalf of the province. Although the value of the gifts is not much, he hopes that this will be a spiritual motivation for the wounded and sick soldiers to continue to maintain their health and make efforts to overcome their illnesses. Comrade Le Hong Vinh assigned the local authorities and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to receive some recommendations related to the implementation of policies or health issues and promptly consider and resolve them in accordance with the State's regulations.
