Quan Bau Ward (Vinh City) expands blockade area after new infections appear continuously

Immediately after a case of Covid-19 infection was detected in the area on June 25,Quan Bau wardurgently blockaded the patients' residence at lane 21, Le Ninh street, block 4 with a total of 15 households and 53 people.

However, on the afternoon of June 26, the locality continued to record 4 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the number of infections in the ward to 6.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Toan - Chairman of Quan Bau Ward People's Committee said: Due to the complicated developments of the epidemic, many cases had traveled in the block, so the ward decided to lock down.whole block 4with a total of 198 households and 796 people.

It is known that after the lockdown, Quan Bau ward disinfected and took samples for testing of all households in block 4.

On the afternoon of June 26, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of the Center for Disease Control of Nghe An province informed: Nghe An has 4 new cases of Covid-19 infection. All 4 patients are F1 cases, in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city; related to Vinh wholesale market and were quarantined in advance.
