Vinh Tan Ward (Vinh City) received 292 million VND in support of building and repairing houses for the poor.

At the launching ceremony, the Steering Committee for mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties in Vinh Tan ward called on all cadres, party members, civil servants, agencies, units, businesses, neighborhoods, philanthropists and local people to participate in contributing and supporting money, goods, and working days to help poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households with housing difficulties.

Implementing the Directives and Plans of the Provincial Party Committee and Vinh City on implementing the Program to mobilize support for building and repairing houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in the period of 2023-2025, Vinh Tan Ward has established a Steering Committee, reviewed the number of households with housing difficulties to plan and target the support campaign. Up to this point, Vinh Tan Ward has 14 near-poor households. Through the survey, there are 11 near-poor households and households with housing difficulties, in great need of cooperation, sharing and help from the compassionate hearts of the community.

With the spirit of "mutual love", "the rich help the poor", at the launching ceremony, 29 organizations, units, blocks, and businesses in the ward registered to support the construction of houses for the poor and people with difficult housing circumstances with a total amount of more than 292 million VND. From this source of funding, Vinh Tan ward will quickly implement a plan to support the repair and construction of new houses for poor and near-poor households from now until the end of 2025, with the support level for households building new houses being 50 million VND and for houses being repaired being 25 million VND.
