Quy Chau promotes energy saving in schools

The contest attracted 400 students and teachers from Quy Chau Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities to participate.

During 1 session, 3 teams "Green Energy Team", "Wind Energy Team" and "Light Source Team" representing the grades went through 3 competitions including: greeting, multiple choice test, and talent competition.

In the greeting round, each team introduced their team and the activities they used.energy savingand effectively at school and at home through plays, chants, songs, etc.

Multiple choice test: Provides basic knowledge about energy, how to use common household appliances economically and efficiently.

In the talent competition, the teams promoted "energy saving and efficiency" through short skits.

The contest is an opportunity to propagate and popularize the Law and Program on Economical and Efficient Energy Use in Schools, thereby creating a healthy and useful playground, learning while playing while learning, enhancing creativity in the issue of economical and efficient energy use in schools as well as at home.

At the end of the competition, the judges awarded first, second and third prizes to three teams. The “Wind Energy Team” won first prize.

On the same day, the Energy Conservation Center of Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Quy Chau Electricity to organize training on energy conservation andGrid safetyin a household in Chau Binh commune, Quy Chau district.

At the training session, the Energy Conservation Center of Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade introduced the main contents of the State's policies and guidelines, the contents of the Law on efficient and economical use of energy; Training on safe use of electricity in households; Safety of the power grid among the people; Causes of loss, potential and solutions for energy saving; Regulations on administrative sanctions in the electricity sector, knowledge on safe and economical use of electricity. At the same time, introducing to the people about renewable energy sources available in nature.
