Quy Hop reclaims more than 7,000 hectares of land from agricultural and forestry farms for local management.
(Baonghean.vn) - Regarding the management and exploitation of forests and forestry land, up to now, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has directed the implementation of land recovery from agricultural and forestry companies in Quy Hop district to hand over to local management with a total area of more than 7,293 hectares.

Implementing Resolution No. 30-NQ/TW dated March 2, 2014 of the Politburo; Decree No. 118/2014/ND-CP dated December 17, 2014 of the Government on arrangement, innovation and improvement of operational efficiency of agricultural and forestry companies in the area, up to now, Quy Hop district has completed the work of reviewing and marking the land use plans of agricultural and forestry companies in the district approved by the People's Committee of Nghe An province and handed over to local management.
Currently, in Quy Hop district, there are 4 agricultural and forestry farms, with a total area of over 12,912 hectares according to the approved plan to be retained for management. Quy Hop Forest Farm manages a total area of over 5,985 hectares; Dong Hop Forest Farm manages over 3,299 hectares; 3-2 Agricultural and Industrial One Member Co., Ltd. more than 1,855 hectares;Xuan Thanh Agricultural Company Limited has a total area of over 1,772 hectares. Up to now, the People's Committee of Nghe An province has directed the implementation of land recovery from agricultural and forestry companies in Quy Hop district to hand over to local management with a total area of over 7,293 hectares.
Specifically, the forest area that the Provincial People's Committee has recovered from 2 forestry farms in Quy Hop district and handed over to the locality for management is more than 6,894 hectares, including: Bac Son commune 43.5 hectares; Chau Hong commune nearly 44 hectares; Chau Loc commune more than 67 hectares; Tho Hop commune more than 145 hectares; Chau Ly commune more than 942 hectares; Chau Thanh commune more than 1,824 hectares; Chau Cuong commune more than 490 hectares; Yen Hop commune more than 1,854 hectares; Chau Thai commune nearly 703 hectares; Dong Hop commune nearly 390 hectares; Tam Hop commune more than 388 hectares.

The forest area that the Provincial People's Committee recovered from 3-2 Agricultural Industry Company Limited and Xuan Thanh Agricultural Company Limited in Quy Hop district is more than 399 hectares, of which: Minh Hop commune is more than 337 hectares; Nghia Xuan commune is more than 62 hectares.
Quy Hop district has made a plan to assign households and communities to produce, protect and cultivate more than 5,381 hectares of land, and the area that has not been assigned to households for use is more than 1,911 hectares. The area that has not been handed over in Quy Hop is mainly natural forest land, river land, stream land, and land far from residential areas.
