(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 27, the Propaganda Department of Quynh Luu District Party Committee held a conference to "Review the work of reporters - oral propaganda and the work of ordering and using party newspapers in 2017".

Attending the conference were the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Party Committee,Representative of the Editorial Board of Nghe An Newspaper.The conference had over 100 reporters and collaborators representing district departments, communes and towns in the area participating.

In 2017, based on the orientations and plans of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Propaganda Department of Quynh Luu district successfully completed the assigned tasks: Consulting and directing the propaganda of major activities and events of the year; implementing well the special propaganda topics; proactively grasping information to exchange and orient at the meetings and reporters; perfecting the network of social opinion workers; consulting and directing the step-by-step innovation of organizing learning, improving the level of political theory...

Regarding the issuance and use of Party newspapers, in 2017, the BoardPropaganda hasAdvise the District Party Committee to issue 2 documents urging the purchase and use of newspapers, organize professional training for 60 collaborators; advise the District Party Committee to respond to 13/13 issues raised by the press; coordinate with departments to grasp and resolve issues in the field of science and education;Coordinated with Nghe An Newspaper to carry out a number of special topics and outstanding propaganda contents in various areas of social life; along with maintaining the number of newspaper subscriptions for nearly 100% of Party cells and focal points (reaching 320,040 copies, an increase of 1,800 copies compared to 2016), many units ordered newspapers exceeding the target as required by Directive 11/CT-TW and Directive 03/BTV Provincial Party Committee.

At the conference, after receiving comments, comrade Hoang Van Bo - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged the efforts of the district's Propaganda Department in 2017, and at the same time identified a number of key points in 2018:The Propaganda Department is the focal point for advising the district in coordinating with Nghe An Newspaper to strongly propagate the main topics of the year; promptly advise the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on practical propaganda topics, aiming to orient public opinion; effectively resolve issues raised by the newspaper, increase information dialogue at the grassroots level, take care of the publication work and especially the use of the newspaper...
