Launching Thanh Chuong Fellow Countrymen Association in the Southern region

Thanh Chuong is a district with a large and long area located along both banks of the Lam River. The land is blessed with plains, hills and forests. However, the climate here is harsh, with cold winters and hot summers and Lao winds... Those difficulties and hardships have tempered the people here with will and courage in war as well as in peacetime. The people of Thanh Chuong have contributed many talents to the country.

No matter where we go and what we do, Thanh Chuong people always maintain the character and soul of Nghe An people. With a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, always looking towards the homeland, and following the wishes, the Thanh Chuong Association in the Southern provinces and cities was established according to the policy of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee according to Notice No. 591/TB-TU dated July 7, 2022.

Attending this meeting were leaders representing the Central Government, Nghe An province and Thanh Chuong district, representatives of businesses and many children of Thanh Chuong district currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces.

Mr. Le Nguyen Hong was elected as the interim Chairman of the Thanh Chuong Association in the Southern provinces.

At the launching ceremony, the representative of Thanh Chuong district, Mr. Trinh Van Nha - Chairman of the district People's Committee, briefly informed about the economic and cultural situation of the district, hoping that Thanh Chuong people in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces would always be united and support each other in all aspects of life. He also hoped that individuals and businesses who are children of Thanh Chuong would pay attention to investing and sharing with their homeland in the upcoming development stages.

Representative of Thanh Chuong Association presented Thanh Chuong District Education Promotion Fund with 1 billion VND.
