First new case of infectionis patient CTL, female, born in 1979. Ethnicity: Khmu. Occupation: Farmer. Address: Cham Puong village, Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district. Patient L. has only stayed at home, worked on the fields, did not go anywhere and did not come into contact with anyone returning from the epidemic area. 3 days ago, the patient had a mild fever, cough, and was not tired. The nurse at Bao Thang commune health station (Ky Son district) came to prescribe medicine and infuse fluids at home. On July 13, 2021, patient CTL went with her son and daughter-in-law to the district health center for examination and had samples taken for rapid test 03 times, which were positive; then the sample was sent to Nghe An CDC for confirmation testing, with a positive result for SARS-CoV-2.
Second new case of infectionis MTH, female, born in 1998. Ethnicity: Khmu. Occupation: Freelancer. Address: Cham Puong village, Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong, Nghe An. Patient MTH is the daughter-in-law of patient CTL announced on the same day. During maternity leave to take care of her child, the patient did not go anywhere. At noon on July 12, 2021, the patient showed symptoms of chills, no fever, no cough, no fatigue. At 11:00 a.m. on July 13, 2021, the patient went with her husband, mother-in-law and child to the Tuong Duong District Health Center for a medical examination and had 3 positive rapid test samples taken; the sample was sent to Nghe An CDC for a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2.
Third new case of infectionis CTBN, female, born in 2021. Ethnicity: Khmu. Address: Cham Puong village, Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district. Patient CTBN is the child of patient MTH and the grandchild of patient CTL announced on the same day. The patient was taken to the hospital by her grandmother and parents and had samples taken and sent to CDC Nghe An for test results confirming positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, all 3 patients are being isolated and treated at the Infectious Diseases Department of Tuong Duong District Medical Center.
Fourth new case of infectionis patient TVT, male, born in 1940. Address: Hamlet 1, Tan Thanh, Yen Thanh, Nghe An. On July 1, the patient had pain in the cervical vertebrae, so he went to Minh An General Hospital, Quynh Luu and was tested rapidly with negative results. After that, the patient was transferred to the General Infection Department, Tropical Disease Center. Here, the patient was tested RT-PCR 3 times on July 1, 3, and 7, all with negative results. On July 13, the patient was tested for the fourth time, with the result confirmed positive for SARS-COV-2... Medical history: The patient had contact with his son who returned from Di An - Binh Duong on June 27 (he was tested rapidly and negative on July 1).
Immediately after detecting positive cases, CDC deployed investigation and tracing teams to localities to investigate F cases and urgently coordinate the implementation of epidemic prevention measures.
