On the morning of July 6, Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh - Director of Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control informed: From 7:00 p.m. on July 5, 2021 to 7:00 a.m. on July 6, 2021, Nghe An discovered 2 new patients. Both cases are F1 and have been quarantined in advance.

First new Covid-19 patientis PTH, female, born in 1969, working as a wholesale market trader, address at Tan Phuong Block, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City. The patient is an F1 case of patients TTQ and PTS announced earlier. On June 24, the patient was quarantined at Nghe An Pedagogical College and the first sample was taken for testing with a negative result. On July 5, the patient had symptoms of fever and cough and was sampled for the second time; on the morning of July 6, Nghe An CDC confirmed the test result as positive forSARS-CoV-2 virus.
Second new Covid-19 patientis NLMN, female, born in 2020, address at Tecco Green View 3 Apartment, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City. Patient NLMN is the child of patient NTT who was announced earlier. On July 5, the patient was quarantined at home and tested. On July 6, Nghe An CDC tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Up to now, Nghe An has had128 Covid-19 positive cases are distributed in 10 localities: Vinh City: 87 cases, Dien Chau: 18 cases, Tan Ky: 01 case, Quy Hop: 05 cases, Nam Dan: 04 cases, Do Luong: 01 case, Hoang Mai: 02 cases, Nghia Dan: 01 case, Nghi Loc: 04 cases, Quynh Luu: 05 cases.
Cumulative number of patients who tested positive again: 5 patients after treatment from Bac Giang transferred to 4 districts: Nghia Dan 1, Que Phong 1, Thanh Chuong 1 and Quynh Luu 2. Cumulative number of patients who have recovered and been discharged from the hospital in this outbreak (from June 13) is 4 patients. Cumulative number of deaths is 01 case.
Regarding patient NTT, after discovering that this patient was positive, Nghe An CDC, Vinh City Medical Center, Vinh City Police urgently investigated, traced, and collected 415 samples at Green View 3 Apartment (406 community, 9 F1 cases). Test results confirmed that on the morning of July 6, 1 sample of the above NLMN patient was positive and the remaining 414 samples had negative test results./.
