There will be an art program and 3 nights of high-altitude fireworks to welcome the new year 2025 in Nghe An.
In Vinh city (Nghe An), there will be art programs and special fireworks displays to welcome the new year 2025, scheduled to take place from December 28 to 31, 2024.
At Ho Chi Minh Square, the Countdown Program - Welcome New Year 2025 takes place from 20:35 on December 31, 2024 to 0:00 on January 1, 2025, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with businesses and related units.

The new and special feature of the Countdown program welcoming the New Year 2025 is the Art Gala "Nghe An in the Heart of the Fatherland" and the launching of the Campaign to create and promote literary and artistic works on the theme "A Common Vietnamese Legacy".
These are activities to implement Plan No. 230-KH/TU dated March 18, 2024 of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Official Dispatch No. 2160/UBND-VX dated March 21, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese literature and art after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The Art Gala program “Nghe An in the heart of the Fatherland” consists of 3 parts: Part 1 “Returning to the mountains and rivers” brings singing and dancing performances imbued with the breath of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs - a folk performing art recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
Part 2 "Songs that go with the years" are songs about Nghe An homeland during the resistance wars of the nation in the 20th century such as "Tieng ho tren dat Nghe An", "Co quan quan Lang Do", "Hello, Lam Hong girl"...
Part 3 of “Nghe An Song of a New Day” with songs such as “Rhythm of Dawn”, “Nghe An in My Heart”, “Nghe An Going Out to Sea”…, paints a picture of Nghe An in innovation, integration and development with the aspiration to build a rich and beautiful homeland of each citizen.
Also part of the activities to welcome the new year 2025, at the tourist areaVinWonders Cua Hoi(Nghi Hoa ward, Vinh city) will have 3 nights of high-altitude fireworks, each night 5 minutes, from 9:00 p.m. on December 28, 29 and 0:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
There will also be music shows throughout the nights of December 28 and 29 and the Countdown concert “Ringing the New Year” from 10pm on December 31 to 0am on January 1, 2025. According to the organizers, the program is expected to attract about 25,000 guests each night.
