(Baonghean.vn) - This is the affirmation of Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee Nguyen Van Que to the inspection team for compliance with discipline and administrative discipline of the province led by Mr. Le Dinh Ly - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs on the afternoon of February 12.

In Thanh Chuong district, the delegation inspected departments and offices of the District People's Committee and Thanh Van commune.

Based on the inspection, the delegation found that Thanh Chuong district has implemented and complied quite well with the contents of Directive 26 of the Prime Minister and Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Specifically, on January 7, 2019, the District People's Committee issued Decision No. 77/QD-UBND on establishing an inspection team to inspect the implementation of discipline and administrative discipline in Thanh Chuong district.

The district has issued regulations on office culture; in 2019, the district issued work program No. 5419/QD-UBND dated December 28, 2019.

Inspecting the compliance with working hours at 11 departments and offices under the district People's Committee, the provincial inspection team noted that basically all cadres and civil servants were present with a sense of concentration; the majority of civil servants wore badges and complied with working hours; the functional offices were arranged neatly, suitable to the physical conditions of the agency, unit and in accordance with regulations.

During a surprise inspection at Thanh Van commune at 4:25 p.m., the inspection team recorded that 14 out of 18 commune officials were present, and 4 were absent, all with reasons.

The inspection team noted that the commune should complete documents related to the implementation of Directive 26 of the Prime Minister and Directive 17 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening discipline and administrative order; issue decisions to assign specific tasks to non-professional staff, etc.

Talking to the inspection team, Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee Nguyen Van Que affirmed: The district pays special attention to improving public ethics, rectifying the working style and manners of its staff.

"Right on the first working day of the year, the Chairman of the District People's Committee instructed officials and civil servants to start working immediately, implementing the Tet tree planting festival; at the same time, requiring officials and civil servants not to go to temples and pagodas on working days and not to use public vehicles to go to temples and pagodas. If the district discovers violations by officials, it will be strictly handled," said Mr. Que.

Chairman of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee affirmed: "The district will accept and continue to strengthen inspection of communes, agencies and units."

Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Le Dinh Ly requested Thanh Chuong district to continue to take measures to direct and urge departments, offices, and localities to carry out political tasks right from the first days and months of the year.
