Nghe An Department of Health exchanges and learns experiences at Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health

The working delegation included leaders of the Department of Health, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital and departments of the Department.

Working with the delegation, on the side of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Chi Thuong - Member of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, leaders of the City Children's Hospital, Tu Du Hospital and leaders of departments of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.

Implementing the agreement on socio-economic development cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Nghe An province, in June 2019, Nghe An Department of Health and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health organized a workshop to share experiences.

Immediately after the cooperation program between the two DepartmentsMedicalsigned, the Health sector of Nghe An province has received a lot of support and assistance from medical units in Ho Chi Minh City. Leading medical units in Ho Chi Minh City such as Children's Hospital 1, Tu Du Hospital, People's Hospital 115, Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Traditional Medicine, Blood Transfusion - Hematology Hospital, Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Trauma Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City Heart Hospital, Thu Duc Hospital have transferred technology to Nghe An General Hospital, Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Vinh City General Hospital... Thereby, helping hospitals in Nghe An develop and improve their professional capacity in medical examination and treatment.

Within the framework of the working session, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health shared with the delegation of Nghe An Department of Health experiences in managing private medical and pharmaceutical practices; directing and implementing socialized healthcare; monitoring, quality monitoring tools for medical examination and treatment at the grassroots level and experiences in applying information technology in the healthcare sector.
