The influence of learning and following Uncle Ho

(Baonghean) -To continue promoting the study and following of Uncle Ho's example according to Directive 03-CT/TU dated May 14, 2011 of the Politburo of the 11th Party Central Committee, the Standing Committee of Thai Hoa City Party Committee has focused on directing and implementing and has achieved outstanding results, worthy of the honor of being the locality visited by Uncle Ho.

After having the policy and documents from the superiors, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee directed the establishment of a Support Unit, issued all documents and materials in accordance with regulations, directed the grassroots to develop action programs, issued instructions for grassroots party organizations to build ethical standards suitable to the situation and characteristics of the locality and unit; clearly defined common ethical standards, and at the same time oriented some other ethical standards. That is to implement "3 no's", "3 right's", "3 need's", "3 against's", "building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's"... The registration to follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example was selected by cadres and party members of the entire town with appropriate content for each sector, each agency and unit.

The Party Committee from the Town to the grassroots level really cares about educating the young generation in ethics and lifestyle in following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh. The Town Youth Union has developed an action plan "Thai Hoa Youth Study and Follow Uncle Ho's Teachings". Many youth unions have focused on building a model of "Youth Union Branches Following Uncle Ho's Teachings", building a bookcase "Following Uncle Ho's Teachings", organizing forums "Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings"...

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Dong Hieu State Farm (December 10, 1961 - December 10, 2011), the Standing Committee thoroughly grasped and directed the entire Party members to write an article summarizing Uncle Ho's speech at Dong Hieu State Farm 50 years ago. During the Party cell meeting in November 2011, 3,786 Party members reached 82.1% and 298 people participated. On this occasion, the Standing Committee also assigned the responsibility to the Dong Hieu Commune Party Committee to coordinate with the Nghe An Coffee and Rubber Company Party Committee to organize a seminar to review the tradition of the 50th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit, and to announce the detailed planning of the memorial area where Uncle Ho visited Dong Hieu on an area of ​​8.9 hectares, with a total cost of 92 billion VND.

Promoting tradition, on May 19, 2012, Dong Hieu Party Committee organized a contest for excellent Party cell secretaries "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", with 18/18 Party cell secretaries participating. The contest aims to honor cadres and Party members who study and follow Uncle Ho. From the results and influence of this contest, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee has directed that on May 19, 2013, the 5th anniversary of Thai Hoa Town's establishment, it will organize a Town-level event for 10 communes and wards, along with commending and rewarding outstanding individuals and collectives in implementing Directive 03-CT/TU.

The Standing Committee continues to direct and guide Party committees at all levels to organize for Party members to register to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example. Initially, 3,924 people have registered, including 3,595 Party members (84.6%) and 329 people. The highlight of Thai Hoa's propaganda work is the dissemination of good people and good deeds and the exemplary role of leaders. The town's radio and television station has highlighted 13 outstanding collectives and individuals on the town's television and Nghe An province's television...

After 1 year of implementing Directive 03-CT/TU, the promotion of studying and following Uncle Ho has really entered life, has had a wide spread, and has been strongly responded to by the whole town. At the Town Military Party Committee, 3 movements have emerged: "Filial piety to the people", "Saving oneself for the needy", "Love for comrades". The Fatherland Front continues to implement "Day for the poor", the Town Women's Union launches the movement "5 no 3 clean", "Warm home of love", ... The Town Youth Union replicates the model "Drinking water, remember the source", "Lighting candles in gratitude", "Lighting up the dreams of Thai Hoa youth" ... Responding to the 60 days of launching the new rural construction campaign, the whole town has mobilized people to donate more than 22,300m2 of land for rural roads, raising 1.9 billion VND to build infrastructure. From the actions and consensus among cadres and party members, Thai Hoa Town is gradually changing, gradually moving forward, towards a rich, beautiful and civilized town.
