Giving gifts worth 150 million VND to women in the border area
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 13 and 14, the Vinh City Women's Union and the Provincial Border Guard Women's Union jointly organized the program "Accompanying women in the border areas" in the border commune of Mai Son, Tuong Duong district and My Ly, Ky Son district.

The delegation visited, presented gifts and cash to women's union members and students in 2 communes, including: supporting 2 communes each with 30 million VND in cash; giving 7,600 notebooks, 180 boxes of instant noodles, 50 boxes of cakes, 1,000 sets of school supplies, 500 school uniforms, and 30 school bags.
In addition, 20 boxes, 10 bags of old textbooks, and 10 bags of old clothes were also transferred. The total value of the program's gifts for the two communes was 150 million VND.

The program "Accompanying women in border areas" for the period 2018 - 2020 was launched by the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the Border Guard Command to promote the tradition of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance of the Vietnamese people; at the same time, expressing the affection and sharing of difficulties and hardships of women members in border communes, contributing to building strong border areas.
