Before working with the leaders of Thai Hoa Town, the Provincial Party Secretary and the provincial delegation inspected the implementation of the New Rural Development Program in Nghia My Commune. From a commune with poor infrastructure, after 3 years of construction with the active efforts of the Party Committee and people, Nghia My has achieved 15 New Rural Development criteria and is striving to reach the finish line in 2014. Here, the Provincial Party Secretary visited and presented gifts to 10 poor households in the commune. Next, the Provincial Party Secretary visited the incense production model of Phuc Hoa Company Limited, Long Son Ward. Currently, the company has a 700m2 production workshop.2, has 2 raw material crushing machines, 2 drying machines, 16 incense stick extruders, creating jobs for 15 workers with an income of 2.5 - 3 million VND per month. The Provincial Party Secretary noted that the Town and Ward need to create conditions for the facility to expand the factory, creating jobs in the area.

The report on the socio-economic situation of Thai Hoa Town presented by Comrade Le Tien Tri - Secretary of the Town Party Committee showed that: The town's economic growth rate reached 15%; total production value was over 1,706 billion VND, up 21% over the same period; Economic structure shifted positively and in the right direction; budget revenue reached 55,478 million VND, equal to 66.5% of the plan, up 20.7% over the same period; average income per capita reached 27.95 million VND/year. Social culture had many positive changes, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people; social security in the area was given attention and gradually ensured. Local defense and military tasks were given attention and maintained well; political security and social order and safety were maintained. Party building work was given attention and had positive changes. People's lives are stable and basically in agreement with the leadership and direction of political tasks.
However, the report also pointed out the limitations that need to be overcome, namely socio-economic development is not commensurate with potential; site clearance work in some projects is still slow; administrative reform has not met requirements; public service awareness of some cadres and civil servants is still limited....

In order for the Town to play the role of the socio-economic center of the Northwest Nghe An region and also the driving force of the region, the Provincial Party Secretary requested: The Town needs to effectively implement Resolution 26-NQ/TW; well implement the targets and objectives of the Party Congress for the 2010-2015 term; boost production and business, complete the 2014 plan; prepare disaster prevention and control plans; strengthen the management of urban planning and construction in terms of architecture, infrastructure, and land; promote the construction of new rural areas; well manage social order, improve cultural and spiritual life, and take care of people's health; well prepare conditions for Party congresses at all levels; strengthen administrative reform, enhance the responsibility of cadres and civil servants; strengthen solutions for land and mineral management...
