Increase the discharge flow of water from Chi Khe Hydropower Plant reservoir (Con Cuong)
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense has just issued an urgent notice on the operation of increasing the water discharge flow of Chi Khe Hydropower Reservoir.
At 19:58, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention - Search and Rescue and Civil Defense received Notice No. 17/2024/TB-CT dated September 10, 2024 of Chi Khe Hydropower Plant on the operation of increasing the discharge flow of water from the Chi Khe Hydropower Plant reservoir.
To ensure the safe regulation of water in Chi Khe Hydropower Plant's reservoir according to the approved single-reservoir and inter-reservoir procedures on the Ca River basin, Chi Khe Hydropower Plant plans to increase the discharge flow of Chi Khe Hydropower Plant's reservoir as follows:
1.Estimated time to increase reservoir water flow regulation through spillway gates:At 00:00, September 11, 2024.
2.Discharge flow:Total discharge is about 506 m3/s to 1,600 m3/s (including through the spillway and generation through the generators) and may vary depending on the water flow to the lake.
3.Time to end discharge through spillway gates:Until the flow to Chi Khe hydroelectric reservoir is equivalent to the flow generated through the generators.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Disaster Prevention informs the People's Committees of the districts: Con Cuong, Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen and Vinh city; Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Road Management Area II to inform the authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the area downstream of Chi Khe Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and the people./.
