'Gender Sensitivity in Media' Training Promotes Gender Equality
On the morning of September 20, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An organized a training course on "Gender sensitivity in communication" in 2024.

Attending the training course were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Master Le Xuan Dong - Expert on gender and social development;Writer Trang Ha, communications and branding consultant.
Attending the training course were reporters from a number of press agencies in the province; communication officers at the propaganda and mass mobilization departments of district, city and town Party Committees; civil servants of the culture and information departments of districts, cities and towns.

At the training course, trainees were provided with knowledge by experienced experts in the field of gender and media about:Gender equality, gender-based violence prevention, gender mainstreaming, gender sensitivity in media products.

The training course aims to raise awareness and communication capacity for press reporters and media officers in districts, cities and towns on gender equality; gender sensitivity and protection of victims' rights when writing, editing and broadcasting news and articles on gender equality and gender-based violence, contributing to the community and society in preventing and stopping violence against women and girls./.
