Vinh City switches to implementing Directive 19 from 0:00 on September 24

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 3481/QD-UBND on adjusting measures to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic in Vinh city.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee decided to switch to implementing Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated April 24, 2020 of the Prime Minister on continuing to implement measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in the new situation for all communes and wards of Vinh city (except for areas under medical isolation: Trung Do Cooperative Apartment, address No. 172, Nguyen Du Street, Ben Thuy Ward; CT1A Handico 30 Apartment, Block 9, Quang Trung Ward).

Applicable time: From 0:00 September 24, 2021.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also authorized the Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee to base on Decision No. 2686/QD-BCĐ dated May 31, 2021 of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on promulgating "Regulations on assessing the level of risk and corresponding administrative measures in Covid-19 prevention and control" to propose additional solutions suitable to the actual situation in the locality if necessary for each specific area.

Thus, up to this point, except for some hamlets and communes in the districts of Dien Chau, Hung Nguyen, Que Phong, and Nam Dan, 21 districts, cities, and towns in the province have switched to implementing Directive 19 of the Prime Minister.

As of 7:00 a.m. on September 23, the province had recorded 1,812 Covid-19 patients in 21 localities. Of which, Vinh City had the most with 645 cases; 1,682 cases had recovered and been discharged from hospital; 16 patients had died./.
