Vinh City: Handling 460 cases of cars illegally parking and entering prohibited roads
(Baonghean.vn) - Voters in Vinh city reported that currently some roads have signs prohibiting stopping, parking, turning around, trucks, and passenger cars with more than 16 seats... but authorities have not handled any violations.
In response to this issue, the competent authority informed:From the beginning of 2018 until now, through patrolling and controlling, Vinh City Police have handled 460 cases of cars stopping and parking illegally, entering prohibited roads, turning around at places with no-turn signs... Of which, 198 were passenger cars; 150 were trucks; 112 were cars and taxis. Administrative fines totaled 236,400,000 VND.

However, some trucks and passenger cars that are not allowed to enter according to Decision 70-70/2016/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee still take advantage of the absence of traffic police to transport passengers into the city center.

In the coming time, the City People's Committee will direct the City Police to continue to promote the dissemination of legal regulations on handling administrative violations of illegal stopping, parking, and turning vehicles at places with signs prohibiting turning vehicles.
At the same time, strengthen inspection forces and resolutely and strictly handle violations.
