Vinh City requires strict implementation of wearing masks in public places

Although Vinh city is currently under good control,risk of disease outbreakalways present, especially from illegal immigration sources. Recently, there has been a situation of negligence and subjectivity of organizations and individuals in implementing epidemic prevention and control measures according to regulations.

To strengthen the work of epidemic prevention and control in Vinh city, to prevent and control sources of infection in the community, the City People's Committee requests heads of departments, branches, units; Chairmen of People's Committees of wards and communes to strictly implement the following contents:

1. Focus on propaganda, urging, reminding and strictly implementing the work.wearing masks is mandatoryat events with large crowds; Public places such as: markets, supermarkets, shopping malls, schools, production facilities (companies, factories, enterprises), bus stations, ports, airports, train stations, on public transport, parks, amusement and entertainment areas and activities in religious establishments...

2. Assign the City Police and People's Committees of wards and communes to inspect and strictly handle administrative violations against those who do not comply with the requirement to wear masks at crowded events and public places...

3. Heads of relevant departments, agencies, branches and units, based on their assigned functions, tasks and responsibilities in epidemic prevention and control, shall direct establishments to properly implement the mandatory wearing of masks if they have to organize group activities in accordance with the spirit of this document.

4. Wearing masks in public places and crowded places is mandatory, so if any ward or commune does not seriously implement this and Covid-19 infection occurs, the Chairman of the People's Committee of that ward or commune must take full responsibility.
