Piloting centralized online exams via electronic chip-embedded citizen identification card authentication platform
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 18, in Vinh city, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province organized a pilot implementation of a centralized online exam model through the technology platform of authenticating citizen identification cards with electronic chips.
Attending the pilot implementation of the model were Prof. Dr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training; representatives of the Steering Committee of Project 06/CP of Nghe An province; FPT Information System Company Limited and representatives of the Board of Directors of high schools in the area participating in the pilot implementation.

The pilot of centralized online exams via the electronic chip-based citizen identification card authentication technology platform is carried out according to Plan 762/KH-TCT dated October 10, 2023 of the Working Group implementing Project No. 06/CP on implementing tasks in the Project "Developing population data applications, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, vision to 2030" in Nghe An province. The program belongs to model 17 of the project.

Specifically, the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An province is piloting at 3 high schools in the city including: Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Ha Huy Tap High School, Le Viet Thuat High School. The online exam model is centralized through the citizen identification card authentication technology platform.chip mountedwas implemented for grade 12 students, with a total of 126 students participating.

Huynh Thuc Khang High School is the central bridge, through which the test sites will organize 2 pilot test sessions for Math, each lasting 45 minutes. At the central bridge, the Department of Education and Training will control the test taking situation of candidates at other bridge sites. Immediately after the time ends, the system will automatically close and grade the tests. Thereby, the system will analyze based on the results as well as the number of questions to help teachers have an objective perspective on the test to adjust it to suit the students' abilities.

Exam results are stored on the server system, helping to reduce paperwork procedures, facilitating the inspection and verification process after the exam.
