Piloting the hanging of national flags according to the model in Thai Hoa

(Baonghean.vn) - The hanging of the national flag according to regulations was selected by the People's Committee of Hoa Hieu Ward, Thai Hoa Town as a pilot in Kim Tan block since April 2017. Up to now, 12/12 blocks in Hoa Hieu Ward have simultaneously implemented it. This not only creates a beautiful urban landscape but also shows the awareness and national pride in each citizen.

In April 2017, the hanging of the national flag according to the model, specifically: Height 3.5m, the flag's tilt is 45 degrees was deployed at Lot 1 of Kim Tan block, Hoa Hieu ward. After 20 days of implementation, 32/32 lots of the block completed the hanging of the national flag in the joy and high consensus of 100% of households in the block.

Ms. Le Thi Danh, Kim Tan block, Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town shared: "I think this is a very meaningful work that needs to be expanded. Every morning when I wake up and see the straight red national flags, my mood is completely different, happy, excited and very sacred."

In Tan Tien block, Hoa Hieu ward, although it is not a holiday, the red color of the national flags is still bright. After Kim Tan block, this is the second unit of Hoa Hieu to implement the flag hanging according to the model. Initially, some households were still hesitant and concerned because they thought that hanging like this was not convenient for storage. However, after being explained, up to now, 5/8 lots have completed the flag hanging according to the model.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan The - Secretary of the Tan Tien block Party cell, Hoa Hieu ward said: "The flag hanging according to the model is very good and meaningful, so the block executive committee met, agreed on the plan and presented it to the people. After explaining it to them, they agreed very much. We strive to complete the hanging of the national flag before November 18 to celebrate the country's great holiday."

Hanging flags according to the model is an activity implemented by the Party Committee of Hoa Hieu Ward in the project to build the ward to meet urban civilized standards. Accordingly, the motto of the ward is: Creating urban beauty while still exuding sacredness.

Therefore, the Ward People's Committee directed the blocks to base on the characteristics of each residential area to have a suitable flag hanging design; avoid obstructing the view of traffic participants. After more than 6 months of implementation, the hanging of the national flag in the area has been deployed simultaneously.
