Lacking materials to complete a new house, a man broke into a house and stole a series of properties.

Previously, on December 12 and 20, 2022, the unit received reports from Mr. Phan Viet Mao (born in 1984), residing in Mai Loc hamlet, Hung Dong commune, Vinh city and the family of Mr. Ngoc Kim Cuong (born in 1990), residing in hamlet 3, Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city, with the content that a thief broke into a house under construction.thiefSome of the new homeowner's assets purchased to prepare for completing the new house such as: TV, water heater, ceiling fan, drill, stove... worth about 200 million VND.

After receiving the report, Vinh City Police quickly directed the police of wards and communes to verify and investigate. After only 1 day, the police force identified Le Van Thi (born in 1983), residing in Vinh Xuan hamlet, Hung Dong commune, Vinh City as the subject who caused the above thefts.

At the Vinh City Police Investigation Agency, Thi initially confessed to having successfully broken into two houses on December 12 and 20, 2022 in Vinh City, stealing many valuable properties such as: TV, water heater, drill, cutter, nail gun; bathtub, bathtub; fan, stove... total value of property about 200 million VND.

At the same time, Thi confessed that his family was currently building a house. However, because the house lacked the necessary equipment to complete the new house, Thi had the idea of ​​going to households that were building houses that were nearing completion to steal the equipment for his own use.

Accordingly, taking advantage of the negligence of families who were building houses without anyone watching at night, the subject drove a motorbike alone to sneak in to steal property. All the stolen property was transported by motorbike to his house and hidden in Vinh Xuan hamlet, Hung Dong commune, Vinh city.

The case is currently being investigated by Vinh City Police.
