Urgent notice to find people who have been to a series of locations related to F0 in Thanh Chuong

On the afternoon of October 15, the Thanh Chuong District Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center issued an urgent notice about locations related to Covid-19 patients. These are all locations related to the 69-year-old patient who was found to be infected with Covid-19 in the community.

Specifically, the locations in the notice include:

-From 7:00 a.m. on October 1, 2021 to 2:00 p.m. on October 7, 2021at the Cardiology - Geriatrics Department, Thanh Chuong District General Hospital;

-From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 2, 2021at the canteen of Thanh Chuong District General Hospital;
-From 11:00 a.m. October 7, 2021 to 8:00 a.m. October 8, 2021at the private residence of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong - Block 1A, Thanh Chuong town;
- From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on October 8, 2021at the Covid-19 vaccination site at the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong town; From October 9 to October 10, 2021 at the private home of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong - Block 1A, Thanh Chuong town;
-From 7:00 a.m. on October 11, 2021 to 3:00 p.m. on October 14, 2021Mr. Nguyen Van Binh's house in block 5, Quan Bau ward, Vinh city;3:00 p.m. October 14, 2021Laboratory Department of Cua Dong General Hospital.

Thanh Chuong District recommends that anyone who was present at these locations should immediately contact the Health Station for timely support in epidemic prevention and control measures, or call the phone number: 0912.206.636. The District also requests the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee of communes and towns, direct the commune-level TTCH, tracing teams, and community Covid teams to urgently review and trace each individual and household, classify subjects, organize quarantine, and take samples for testing according to regulations.

Previously, on the morning of October 15, the Nghe An Department of Health announced another patient in the community. This man has an address at Block 1, Thanh Chuong Town, Thanh Chuong District. According to the patient's statement, on October 11, he went to his son's house at Block 5, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City. On October 14, the patient went to Cua Dong General Hospital for examination, where the patient's sample was taken for a rapid test with a positive result. Immediately after that, the patient's sample was taken for testing. On the morning of October 15, the result confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

According to Mr. Pham Ngoc Luan - Director of Thanh Chuong District Medical Center, up to now, more than 20 people who had close contact with the patient have been traced, all of whom have tested negative for Covid-19. However, the epidemiological investigation process has encountered many difficulties due to the patient's inaccurate travel itinerary. "The patient declared that on October 11, he went from Thanh Chuong to his son's house in Vinh, and only went to Cua Dong Hospital for examination on October 14. However, the hospital's camera inspection showed that he had also come here for examination on October 11. In addition, some information about the patient's travel itinerary, which we later compared, did not match. Therefore, it is very difficult to identify the initial source of infection," said Mr. Luan.
