Explaining the opinions of press representatives, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh informed about new points in the 2019 national high school exam, as well as preparations for the exam.
In 2019, at the Examination Council of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An, there were 6 universities and colleges cooperating: Vinh University, Vinh University of Technical Education, Vinh University of Industry, Hanoi Law University, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism and University of Fire Prevention and Fighting. The multiple choice part was chaired by Vinh University.

In order to tighten and prevent negative phenomena occurring in the 2018 national high school exam, a number of new solutions, mainly technical, have been proposed at all stages. Accordingly, there are cameras to monitor the entire process of using and preserving exam papers 24/7. Independent candidates are not allowed to take the exam separately as in the previous year, but are arranged to take the exam together with candidates studying the high school education program.
Regarding this issue, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested press and radio agencies to focus on disseminating information on preparations for the 2019 exams in the province; career orientation for students applying for admission to universities and colleges in 2019, so that people, parents and students can clearly and deeply understand the exam.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also noted the operational activities at the exams, requiring press agencies to strictly comply with the provisions of the Press Law and properly implement all regulations, in order to contribute to ensuring the exams take place safely, strictly and seriously.

Contribute to promoting administrative reform
Regarding the propaganda orientation in May 2019, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested press agencies to continue to propagate the results of implementing the Party's Resolutions and Directives, focusing on Regulation No. 08 of the Party Central Committee on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members; Project 07 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on enhancing exemplary behavior, combating conservatism, waiting, and dependence among cadres and party members.
Press agencies develop and implement propaganda plans for major events and holidays in the month such as: 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Day; 129th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh associated with the 2019 Lotus Village Festival; 2019 United Nations Vesak Festival in Vietnam...
2019 was chosen as the year of administrative reform, so press and media agencies need to pay attention to deeply reflecting, analyzing, and criticizing, contributing to promoting administrative reform in the province, creating favorable conditions to attract investment and develop the economy - society.

In April, outstanding political and current affairs activities were reported promptly and fully by press and radio agencies. Some of the key outstanding activities include: Nghe An Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam to organize the Conference "Meeting Japan - North Central Region 2019" and the Conference "Meeting Nghe An - Japan: Cooperation and Development"; Nghe An attended the 11th Conference on Decentralized Cooperation between Vietnamese and French localities in Toulouse, France...
Press agencies in the province continue to publish articles mentioning difficulties and obstacles, and at the same time recommend solutions in the process of implementing Resolution No. 18 of the Party Central Committee on innovation and reorganization of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.
However, there are still limitations such as some press agencies reporting and writing articles that are biased; the content and frequency of prominent negative news and articles, and dense law violations while promoting new models, good practices, and setting good examples of good people and good deeds account for a low percentage. Therefore, the representative of the provincial propaganda agency suggested that press agencies should also select and consider when posting news and articles on publications. Thereby ensuring harmony and appropriateness in propaganda work and guiding public opinion.
