In 2018, Nghe An Newspaper achieved many important results, exceeding the set plan as well as having many changes, especially in administrative reform. Specifically, implementing the Party's Central Resolution 06 on continuing to innovate and streamline the political system's apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently, the Party Committee - Editorial Board continued to streamline the editorial office apparatus, from 9 departments to 8 departments. In early 2019, it continued to streamline from 8 departments to 7 departments.

In general, with the efforts, determination, solidarity and consensus of the staff, Nghe An Newspaper has excellently completed the assigned political tasks, the quality of publications continues to be improved, the effectiveness of propaganda and public opinion orientation is recognized by the provincial leaders and people.

In addition to completing their tasks well, the specialized departments also increased the sharing of articles on Facebook, thereby spreading the newspaper's information to readers quickly and effectively. In 2018, many reporters had quality news and articles, winning national and provincial journalism awards.

In 2019, Nghe An Newspaper continued to complete and implement the project according to Resolution 06 of the Central Committee on streamlining the apparatus for effective and efficient operation. At the same time, it continued to improve the quality of the newspaper and the responsibility of CBPVNV; continued to conduct training and retraining to overcome the situation of ineffective operation of some positions; promoted the work of publishing, advertising, propaganda, striving to maintain the quantity and quality of publications in print and electronic newspapers.
