On the morning of June 12, the Central Propaganda Department held a national online conference to assess the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the 13th Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department attended and directed the conference.

CHANGING PERCEPTIONS, RECTIFYING THE CONDUCT OF CADRES, PARTY MEMBERS, AND CIVIL SERVANTS

Inheriting and promoting the achievements of the previous stages, after Conclusion No. 01 was issued, the leadership and direction of promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle continued to be closely, seriously and effectively implemented by Party committees and authorities at all levels. The Politburo, the Secretariat, and directly the General Secretary, led and directed the implementation of this important task throughout the Party and society.

The implementation of Conclusion No. 01 through regular meetings and thematic meetings has contributed to improving the quality of Party cell activities, leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, while rectifying the working style of cadres, Party members, civil servants and public employees, creating a clear change in discipline and administrative discipline, thereby enhancing the people's trust in the Party and the State.

Many key cadres and leaders have been exemplary, taking the lead in movements, increasing their prestige and greatly influencing the masses. The process of studying and following Uncle Ho has contributed to building and training the contingent of cadres and party members. Many Party committees, cadres, party members and leaders have fulfilled their responsibilities and set an example through specific and practical actions and deeds, which have been highly appreciated by the people.

Studying and following Uncle Ho is associated with implementing key tasks, identifying breakthroughs, resolving urgent and outstanding issues, and issues of public concern that are of special concern to Party committees and authorities at all levels. Discipline and administrative order are always strengthened and rectified.

Propaganda work is constantly being researched and innovated in terms of content, form and method, ensuring richness, attractiveness, and meeting diverse, fast and timely information requirements.

The close leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations at all levels; the exemplary role and responsibility of heads of Party committees and authorities; the involvement of the entire political system; the active participation of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, have created necessary steps to continue promoting the tasks and solutions according to Conclusion 01, meeting the set requirements.

After 2 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01, many shortcomings and limitations have been discovered and pointed out. In particular, the leadership, direction and implementation are sometimes formalistic. Many urgent and prominent issues in some places have not been promptly addressed.

The development and implementation of the plan to study and follow Uncle Ho in conjunction with the implementation of the Central Resolutions on Party building and rectification and the political system in a few groups and individuals is still confusing, with low quality and efficiency. A large number of cadres and party members lack exemplary behavior, leading to ideological, political, moral, and lifestyle degradation, shirking responsibility, and even fear of responsibility, with complicated developments.

At the conference, many good experiences, valuable lessons, many creative ways of doing things, many new models in implementing Conclusion No. 01 at Party committees and authorities at all levels were shared. Thereby, helping Party committees and authorities at all levels across the country continue to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of studying and following Uncle Ho.

Delegates visited the VR virtual reality exhibition "Each souvenir has a story - Collection of gifts from Uncle Ho 1945-1969" and interacted with and listened to 4 typical examples of studying and following the example, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh share their personal experiences.

A long-term strategic mission, but also urgent

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized that after 2 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01, new awareness and new spirit of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style have been thoroughly grasped and clearly perceived; closely associated with Party building, the political system, and the value of the history of the Vietnamese nation.

At all levels of the Party and government, there have been many drastic, synchronous, and effective measures in all three components, with many good models and practices, exemplary leadership, combining construction and prevention. Strongly innovating propaganda methods, diversifying in many forms, becoming self-conscious, voluntary, and self-contained by each unit and individual.

In the coming time, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department said that it is necessary to continue to deeply understand the new situation with many difficulties, challenges, and unpredictability. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly understand that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style is an important task for the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army, both long-term strategic and urgent.

From that awareness, promote the role and responsibility of setting an example of cadres and party members, especially leaders, clearly affirm the leadership role, pioneering and exemplary nature of cadres and party members; associated with consolidating and promoting the system of national values, culture, family and standards of Vietnamese people.

Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested continuing to innovate the content and methods of propaganda, information and communication activities on studying and following Uncle Ho in many rich and diverse forms, suitable for each content and each specific object.

On the other hand, promote patriotic emulation movements, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through meaningful, concrete actions, linked to real life. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the leadership, direction and implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of Party committees and organizations at all levels.
