Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan - a peanut trader said: "The historic flood in 2019 completely damaged my family's goods, I had to borrow money to resume business. Therefore, when we heard that storm No. 7 was coming, we were all very worried, so we mobilized our family members to clean up, raise the goods, and prevent flooding again."

A representative of Vinh Market Management Board said: The area behind the Tay Communal House of Vinh Market is the most important place, currently severely degraded, and often flooded when it rains heavily. Therefore, when we heard that storm No. 7 was about to make landfall, we mobilized forces and small traders to clean up and raise their goods. At the same time, we also announced on loudspeakers the developments of the storm so that people could proactively take preventive measures. Currently, more than half of the kiosks behind the Tay Communal House have stopped selling, and we are advising the rest to clean up quickly before the storm hits.
