Vinh City focuses on renovating walking street in time for opening on New Year's Day 2020

(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, Nguyen Van Cu, Ho Tung Mau, Nguyen Tai streets (Vinh City) are being urgently renovated, upgraded, and strive to complete the infrastructure so that Vinh City's walking street can open in time for the 2020 New Year.

After the Vinh City People's Committee approved the plan to build a walking street, Vinh City established a project to invest in upgrading infrastructure and beautifying walking streets. The relocation and replacement of trees was the first step and has now been basically completed. Specifically, on Nguyen Van Cu Street, all existing trees have been replaced with 157 rosewood trees. On Ho Tung Mau Street (from Nai Bridge to the beginning of Nguyen Trung Ngan Street), the sidewalks are being upgraded synchronously, curbs are being renovated, ditches are being woven; manholes, drainage ditches, and clean water supply systems are being renovated. In parallel with upgrading the city's infrastructure, households on both sides of Nguyen Van Cu Street are also upgrading and renovating their shops to attract customers when the walking street opens.
