Vinh City established a command center and a working group to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic.

The Command Center for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Vinh City, the Commander is Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu - Chairman of the City People's Committee, the Deputy Commanders are Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu, Mr. Le Sy Chien - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee. The city also established 6 working groups to assist, including:

Working Group No. 01The team, led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong - Head of the City Police, is responsible for: Directing the rapid tracing of cases in close contact with Covid-19 infected cases (tracing F0, F1, F2...).

Working Group No. 02The team, headed by Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, has the following tasks: Directing the preparation, management, and operation of the city's centralized quarantine areas, deciding on the establishment of quarantine areas and quarantine frameworks; Directing the operationquarantine people, take Covid-19 infected cases from quarantine areas to hospitals; Mobilize forces to support the preparation of concentrated quarantine areas, support other tasks and when there are urgent situations; Coordinate with competent authorities to direct and guide the organization of sample collection when there are F0 infected cases; Direct the handling of cases showing symptoms of Covid-19 infection in quarantine areas and blockade areas; Direct the reception of citizens from epidemic areas outside the province to Vinh city according to the province's plan, ensuring epidemic prevention measures; Ensure facilities and equipment for Covid-19 prevention and control in the city.

Working Group No. 03Mr. Phan Minh Tuan - Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department as Head of the Team has the following tasks: Directing information and communication work on the situation, results and measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic in Vinh city; Guiding and directing wards and communes in information and communication work on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

Working Group No. 04Led by Mr. Le Sy Chien - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee as Head of the Team, responsible for directing the implementation of the work.blockade areasquarantine when there is a quarantine decision by the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Decide to mobilize forces, assign tasks to be on duty at checkpoints to prevent and control the epidemic in the blockaded areas; Direct the handling of difficulties and problems during the implementation of the blockade; Coordinate with the Department of Transport and related units to deploy and carry out well the work of preventing and controlling the epidemic on transport routes; Direct the work of strictly managing and controlling citizens returning to the city from other provinces.

Working Group No. 05The team, headed by Mr. Tran Quang Lam - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, is responsible for directing the prevention and control of Covid-19 in industrial clusters, industrial parks, enterprises, markets, supermarkets, commercial centers, business establishments, and food services.

Check, review and approve Covid-19 prevention and control plans of enterprises and factories in industrial clusters and industrial zones.

The standing team assisting the Vinh City Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command CenterMr. Vo Khac Hung - Chief of Office of the City People's Council - People's Committee as Team Leader with the following tasks: Advising the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center to develop a system of directive and guidance documents to promptly deploy Covid-19 prevention and control work in Vinh City; Assigning regular 24/24 duty during the period of social distancing according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister, promptly receiving information, recommendations and feedback from people, agencies, organizations, units, businesses and wards and communes, advising the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center to handle and resolve. Or report and propose to the Commander and Deputy Commander to direct the handling and resolution of issues related to Covid-19 prevention and control in the area.

Implement reporting regime to the Vinh City Covid-19 Prevention and Control Command Center when requested.
