Vinh City deploys combat drills, disaster prevention, search and rescue in 2023

The conference listened to a summary of the plan and preparations for combat drills, disaster prevention and control drills, and search and rescue drills at ward and commune levels in the defense zone in 2023, including preparation work; drill content; tasks of departments, branches, and localities; time and location of the drill reported by the Standing Office of the Drill Steering Committee and 7 wards and communes reported on the results of the deployment of drill tasks.

Based on the report and discussion opinions, the conference conclusion, comrade Phan Duc Dong acknowledged that the Steering Committee for the exercise had prepared well the contents to be ready for the exercise plan. He requested the Steering Committee to grasp the locality to build suitable for each locality, avoid stereotypes, and regularly monitor and inspect the preparation process to the exercise.

Regarding the 7 wards and communes organizing the drill, the Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized that this is an extremely important task, the results of the drill are associated with the responsibility of local Party committees, therefore, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly grasp Directive No. 09 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Plan No. 20 of the City People's Committee, widely propagate to the masses about the drill tasks, and ensure thrift; the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee of the drill coordinate with localities to prepare well all tasks so that the plan for combat drills, disaster prevention and control drills, and search and rescue at ward and commune levels in the defense area in 2023 will successfully complete the task before July 30, 2023.
