Vinh City requires strict management of people leaving their homes to prevent and fight the epidemic.
(Baonghean.vn) - Faced with the situation of many people and vehicles traveling, showing signs of violating social distancing regulations, the People's Committee of Vinh City issued a document requesting localities to tighten management work according to the provisions of Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.
On June 21, 2021, Vinh City People's Committee issued Document No. 4092/UBND-QLDT to relevant agencies and units requesting to increase patrols and control of people traveling in the area, and limit going out to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.
The content of the document clearly states: Although Vinh city is implementing Decision No. 1979/QD-UBND of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on establishingquarantine areasocial distancing to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic according to Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister, however, there are quite a lot of people and vehicles participating in traffic, showing signs of violations.

To strictly implement the decision of the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring to contribute to the epidemic suppression in the soonest time, Vinh City People's Committee assigned the following tasks:
1. Checkpoints only allow people and vehiclesin and out of the cityThe subjects specified in Directive 16 of the Prime Minister, instructions of the Government Office, Provincial People's Committee, Department of Transport and City People's Committee. Other subjects are strictly prohibited from passing through or entering the city.
2. Assign the City Police, People's Committees of wards and communes, and the city's urban order management team to organize patrols and inspections in the inner city, strictly handle subjects, elements, and means of transportation that violate Directive 16 of the Prime Minister and instructions of the Central Government, the province, and the city.
3. Assign the City Cultural - Communication Center, People's Committees of wards and communes to continue to propagate on the loudspeaker system of wards and communes (at least twice a day) so that people know and limit going out of their homes as much as possible (only go out of their homes in essential cases as stated in the directives and instructions such as buying food, medicine, essential goods and services, emergency, medical treatment, natural disasters, fires, working at agencies and units that are allowed to operate...).
