All night long, people search for drowned youth in Dao River with nets
(Baonghean.vn) - Yen Thanh district authorities are trying to find the whereabouts of a 17-year-old youth who unfortunately fell into the Dao River and went missing.

At around 1:00 a.m. on April 30, NVT, 17 years old, from Minh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh, unfortunately suffered aslipped into the Dao Riversection through Dai Thanh commune, missing.
Mr. Tran Khanh Tung - Chairman of Minh Thanh Commune People's Committee said: After receiving the information, the Commune People's Committee reported to Yen Thanh District People's Committee, coordinated with Yen Thanh District Military Command to organize militia and self-defense forces to search.

Authorities used a net to search the Cau Giang section of Phu Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, using a net on the Dao River. Due to the high water level of the Dao River, heavy rain and cold wind, the search was difficult. As of 9:00 a.m. this morning (May 1), the 17-year-old boy's whereabouts were still unknown.
Two students drowned while bathing in a stream
(Baonghean.vn) - Five students from Tan An Secondary School invited each other to go play in Khe Sanh. After placing cakes and fruits on the shore to eat after bathing, two of them jumped in to bathe and both drowned.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 29, at Quynh Hong Secondary School (Quynh Luu), a ceremony was held to commend and award a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to a 9th grade male student who bravely saved a drowning person on April 20.
