After 40 years of construction and development, the ward is now an area with many bustling commercial areas, densely populated, and is the headquarters of many departments, agencies, enterprises, factories, and many busy and bustling business streets. In addition, the ward also has many large hotels, becoming an ideal and frequent accommodation for tourists from all over the world when coming to Nghe An.

Movements such as "All people unite to build a cultural life", "All people protect national security", "When drinking water, remember the source"... have been vigorously implemented, bringing many proud results. Up to now, in the ward, there are over 300 LLCs and private enterprises with effective production and business; The rate of cultural families reached 93.3%, the cultural sector reached 91.6%; The rate of poor households decreased to 0.03%; The rate of people participating in health insurance reached 89%... Education work has always been of interest to the ward leaders, the quality of teaching and learning has been improved, for many consecutive years the ward has maintained the standard of "ward meeting national standards on health".

In the coming time, Quang Trung Ward sets out the key tasks of promoting the achievements, overcoming shortcomings and limitations, continuing to effectively implement the Resolution of the 11th Ward Party Congress, ensuring sustainable growth of the locality. In addition, the Ward will continue to innovate the methods and leadership capacity of the Party Committee, improve the quality of activities of the government, the Front, and people's organizations, improve the quality of administrative reform, build a team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees with sufficient qualities, prestige, equal to the tasks, and capable of successfully performing the assigned tasks.
