(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with Hung Nguyen district organized a donation of 50 million VND to support the construction of gratitude houses for families of martyrs.

On the afternoon of July 14, the Provincial Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs in coordination with Hung Nguyen district presented 50 million VND to support the construction of a house of gratitude for Ms. Tran Thi Vinh, in Hamlet 2, Long Xa commune, Hung Nguyen district.

Mrs. Tran Thi Vinh is the daughter of martyr Tran Van Cu, born in 1926, who died in 1967 during the resistance war against the US to save the country. For many years, Mrs. Vinh has lived in a seriously degraded level 4 house, her economic life is difficult and she cannot afford to build a house.

The above amount of money was called for by the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province from a businessman who is a son of Nghe An province and currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is one of the practical activities demonstrating the military rear policy and the "Repaying gratitude" movement towards the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), to encourage families of martyrs to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives and also contribute to helping families have a more spacious place to worship martyrs.
