Awarding ceremony of the photo and video clip contest 'Golden Moment' Nghe An Newspaper

Press Photo Contest“Golden moment”and the 9th Nghe An Newspaper Video Clip Contest - 2020 officially launched on November 10, 2019 and ended receiving works on October 20, 2020.

The Organizing Committee received 852 entries (including 39 photo series; 7 photo reports); 50 video clips (the video clip was the first year of the contest) from nearly 100 authors.

Among them, many authors sent many works to participate such as: Nhat Thanh (55 photos), Tran Duy Ngoan (45 photos), Quang An (41 photos), Thanh Cuong (40 photos), Hai Vuong (35 photos)...

Through the contest, it shows that many authors have been active, hard-working, struggling, closely following reality to work, recording hot and attractive news moments in all aspects of life - economy, industry, agriculture, culture - society, sports, tourism, security, and defense in the province.

The theme reflected quite strongly through this year's photo contest is the work of prevention and control.Covid-19 epidemic(including quarantine organization activities; border patrols; activities of medical staff in taking test samples; people's participation in supporting food for quarantine areas) and consequence overcoming activitiesflood, forest fires...

After 2 rounds of judging, the jury selected 8 photos and 2 video clips to award prizes. For photos, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize "Motherland Welcomes You Home" by Thanh Cuong - Duc Anh; 2 Second Prizes "Helping You Go to School" by Nhat Thanh - Ho Xuan Thanh; "The 19th Provincial Party Congress Opens a New Development Stage for the Province" by Thanh Cuong - Nguyen Son; 2 Third Prizes "Traffic Policeman Diving to Regulate Traffic in Heavy Rain" by Quang An; "Cesarean Section at Vinh City General Hospital" by Ho Hai Dang and 3 Encouragement Prizes "Close-up of Covid-19 Testing Sample Collection Process" by Thanh Cuong; "Morning Mist on Dai Tue Pagoda" by Le Quang Dung and "Overcoming Difficulties" by Quang Dung.

For video clips, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 Third Prize "Special skills of special agents" by Trong Kien and 1 Encouragement Prize "A day of white-shirt soldiers on the front line against the epidemic" by Phuoc Anh - Thanh Cuong.
