Awarding scholarships to 40 poor students in Con Cuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 23, in Mon Son commune, the Korea Technology Commercialization Promotion Association (KTCA) coordinated with Con Cuong district to organize the program "Sharing Little Love" to support disadvantaged children in the area.
The “Sharing Little Love” program of the Korean Technology Commercialization Promotion Association has been implemented in Con Cuong since August 2017 and will last until August 2023. In 2017 alone, the program supported 30 poor Dan Lai children and children infected with Agent Orange in Con Cuong district.

In 2018, the program continued to sponsor and support 10 more Dan Lai students, children in difficult circumstances from 4 communes: Chau Khe, Mon Son, Luc Da, Thach Ngan. To date, 40 children have received scholarships from the Korean charity organization.
Accordingly, each child will receive a regular scholarship of 300,000 VND per month, from the age of 11 until the age of 17. The scholarship money will be transferred to the children quarterly.

For the 10 children supported in 2018, each child was also given a female goat to take care of, to develop the family economy and provide additional support for the children in their studies.
