Awarding scholarships and gifts to poor students in Que Phong

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 28, Nong thon ngay nay Newspaper, Dan Viet Electronic Newspaper and sponsors organized the charity program "Giving scholarships and gifts to poor students" at Quang Phong 2 Primary School, Quang Phong Commune, Que Phong District.

The volunteer group awarded 20 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to poor but excellent students; 203 warm coats to students, 117 cartons of milk and herbal drinks, 100 notebooks and shirts to teachers.

The total value of the gifts in this charity event is over 150 million VND, donated by readers of Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper, Dan Viet Electronic Newspaper and the sponsor TH Food Chain Joint Stock Company.

These small meaningful gifts will motivate teachers and students to make more efforts in teaching and learning.
