Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Quy Chau District Police discovered that a drug retail point had emerged in the area led by Ha Van Lieu (born in 1991), residing in Na Pua village, Chau Nga commune, Quy Chau district. Ha Van Lieu is a heavy drug addict, specializing in buying drugs and then retailing them to addicts inside and outside the area, in order to make illegal profits.

After a period of synchronous application of professional measures, at around 8:00 a.m. on August 25, 2023, at Na Pua village, Chau Nga commune, Quy Chau district police coordinated with Chau Nga commune police to break up the case, eradicate the retail point and successfully arrest Ha Van Lieu for the act of illegal drug trafficking. At the scene, 28.258 grams of heroin, nearly 3 million VND, 2 mobile phones, and 1 motorbike were seized.
Currently, Quy Chau District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
