According to Mr. Lu Thanh Chung, Nam Quang stream has many deep pools such as Bang Con Toc, Bang Cam Dip, Bang Quang, Bang Co Hat, Bang Co Cuom, Bang But... However, due to illegal fishing by people from other places using electric shock, the fish resource is gradually depleted. Fish are only abundant in some deep pools around the village. According to the Chairman of Chau Phong Commune People's Committee, Mr. Luong Van Nam: Quang villagers are very aware of preserving aquatic resources. Therefore, they have absolutely banned all forms of fishing using electric shock. When casting nets, villagers only catch enough fish for one meal. And they asked the district and commune to find ways to help the villagers preserve and develop cool fish resources as some localities in the province have done. Photo: Nhat Lan |
